Muffin Men Coffee started in July, 2023 as a vocational training exercise for participants at Saint Joe's Day Program for individuals with disabilities. Modeled after a similar high school program enjoyed by Jason and his classmates at Sycamore High School (Go Aves!) as well as a number of local and national coffee shops that provide opportunities for persons of all abilities, Muffin Men Coffee was designed as a space for day program participants to hang out and interact with the community.

Every Tuesday morning, we provide coffee, hot coffee drinks, and homemade baked goods for folks in our building and anyone else who wanders by. Any donations we receive are passed on to the Day Program. Over the years, we've raised over $3,000 for the program from the donations we have received from many, many generous people. More importantly, program participants like Jason get to meaningfully interact with their neighbors. In many cases, we've made new friends and expanded awareness in the community.

And best of all, we always have a great time!
